Nowadays,under the influence of diversified artistic thoughts,paying attention to the special expression form of materials,the emotional expression of materials and thinking perspective has become one of the main trends in artistic creation.At the same time,in the context of the revival of traditional culture,using traditional culture as the foundation of artistic creation is becoming a hot spot in contemporary artistic creation.With the advocacy of the country on the �Belt and Road� era,how Chinese artists can find creative sources from the �Belt and Road� and �Silk Road�,and how art creation resonates with the era in which we need to think deeply and explore through practice.China has a reputation as an "old country of silk".The silkworm reeling and weaving technique,which has lasted for thousands of years,has formed a silk culture with Chinese characteristics.Silk fiber materials are used as the dominant symbol of silk culture,with its own unique texture and morphological characteristics.Endless creativity.This paper provides a theoretical basis for the value of Chinese traditional cultural meaning unique to silk fibers in the creation of the traditional Chinese silk culture through the theoretical combing of the traditional Chinese silk culture.The visual art features broaden the artistic expression of traditional Chinese silk materials,and provide a reference for the breadth and depth of traditional materials used in artistic creation.From the perspective of the Chinese traditional cultural symbol contained in silk fabrics,the research needs to be traced to the source.Through literature review and field observation,the clues to the historical traceability of silk fibers,the types and expression forms of traditional silk products are summarized and organized.At the same time,it combed the relevant materials of soft sculpture,and conducted a comparative study on the visual perception images contained in the three aspects of the material characteristics,expression forms,and spatial semantics of silk fibers,combined with the visual art semiotics theory.Through the study of the symbolic semantics of the soft sculpture creation of the traditional Chinese silk culture ecosystem,the creative ways and methods of inheritance thinking and emotional thinking are proposed.In terms of innovative research on traditional materials,through a large number of experiments,using contemporary art concepts,the expression methods and artistic forms of silk fiber materials are expanded,trying to break through the single material attributes of traditional silk fibers,seeking new artistic expression language,and enriching silk fibers Representation in soft sculpture creation.In terms of creative practice exploration,through the series of creative practice of silk fiber soft sculptures,relying on traditional Chinese aesthetics and contemporary art concepts,the reinterpretation and deconstruction of silk fiber in the context of contemporary art are explored,thereby revealing a new aesthetic space for China.The contemporary inheritance and creative transformation of traditional silk culture provide emotional clues and practical exploration paths.This paper supplements the visual art characteristics and expressive power of silk fiber as one of the artistic media,which is rarely mentioned in the literature,through the study of silk fiber body and its integration into soft sculpture creation as a material.It is concluded that silk fiber is not only a symbol of natural symbols,but also a continuation of human feelings.By blending it with contemporary art creation,it can create a dialogue between traditional and modern culture and realize the conversion of cultural value into artistic value.
