Decorative painting and plane composition,the former in the form of sensibility through a variety of ways to convey beauty,the latter in the rational design thinking to express an objective and scientific significance.Both of them are subordinate to the art category,and they are integrated and influenced each other,so that the decorative art has a planar nature worthy of further study and exploration.This paper focuses on the exploration of the relationship between decorative painting and the discipline of plane composition design,as well as the characteristics of plane in decorative painting and how it came into being,as well as the comprehensive means and material language needed to form such a plane.Theoretically speaking,the development of flatness in decorative painting is a breakthrough in art history.First of all,it is a kind of visual aesthetic to planar formation,and the root of the visual art language,is the appearance of any object,structure,attitude,behavior,such as full of "form" means that the characteristics of the unified into a complex,and the different permutation and combination would amount to a different form,this is the plane constitution in the art of interest.
