With the trend of the pluralism of the age, watercolor painting is also developing to the same direction with many other forms of arts being incorporated. As a side of the form beauty, it can make the form of arts more suitable to express particular content, and more conform to the rules of aesthetics. What is more, it also became a common representative form of watercolor painting,and we should attribute that to the exploration done by elder artists. Decoration is a style of art that bases on simplification, complanation, orderliness and idealization. The artist studies decorative design to change and beautify things and meet the human's material and esthetic demand. Decoration is being reflected on composition, molding, color and texture when it is being apply to watercolor painting. This paper treated all aspects mentioned above respectively. Decoration will rich the representative form of watercolor painting with it's distinctive aesthetics significance, and shows great promise.
