Among the five skills of listening,speaking,reading,writing and translation,reading skill plays an important role.The development of English reading comprehension ability also plays an important role in senior high school English learning.The reform of College Entrance Examination of English has increased the reading scores,which proves that the improvement of reading ability is particularly important at the stage of English learning in senior high schools.At the same time,the teaching of reading has also been widely concerned by scholars from all walks of life.With the development of the Internet,the new teaching mode of assisting senior high school English reading teaching with the help of network teaching platform has also received more and more attention.This thesis mainly explores the application of E-learning network teaching platform in senior high school English reading teaching from two aspects:(1)Can the teaching of senior high school English reading based on E-learning network teaching platform can improve students' reading interest?(2)Can the English reading teaching in senior high schools based on E-learning network teaching platform can improve students' reading level? If yes,in what aspects?The two main purposes of this study are to combine E-learning network teaching form with English reading teaching in senior high schools,to improve students' reading interest,and then to improve students' reading level.Under the guidance of constructivism theory and autonomous learning theory,the author fully illustrates the convenience and timeliness of classroom teaching based on E-learning network teaching platform.Students change from passive receivers in traditional reading classes to self-learning leaders.Teachers create situations in classroom teaching and guide students to complete reading tasks.Taking two classes of Grade One students in Harbin No.6 Middle School as the research object,the author chooses one class to carry out a four-month teaching experiment with the help of E-learning network teaching platform,the other class as the control class,and uses SPSS 20.0 to carry out data analysis.In addition,the author also uses questionnaires,tests and classroom observation to understand students 'reading ability and reading level.Meanwhile,the author has explored a teaching mode of English reading teaching in senior high school based on E-learning network teaching platform with the instructor and several excellent English teachers,that is,theme analysis-creating situation-individual inquiry-group collaboration.-Systematic Detection-Theme Deepening.Under the guidance of this model,students complete reading tasks,and improve reading interest and reading level.In the process of teaching design,the author chooses three articles with different themes and genres for case analysis,and reflects on them after class by watching the video of the course.In the application of E-learning network teaching platform,the author finds that students' interest in English reading has increased significantly and their reading level has increased.Therefore,the combination of E-learning network teaching platform and senior high school English reading teaching has incomparable advantages over traditional reading teaching.
