Performance Analysis Of Piano Music "Butterfly Love Flowers"

Mr.Wang Jianzhong(1933-2016)is a famous pianist in China.He combines composition and music education,whose piano music works integrate Chinese folk music with Western musical instruments,fully demonstrating the characteristics and charm of piano music.Therefore,he occupies an essential position in Chinese piano music culture and leaves a deep mark in the history of national music.The piano work "Butterfly Loves Flower" was created by Mr.Wang Jianzhong in 1976 from Mr.Zhao Kaisheng's pingtan work "Butterfly Loves Flower",which is the last piano solo adapted by Mr.Wang so far and the only piano work from the prototype of drama pingtan."Butterfly Loves Flower",as a multi-stage piano work with variations,imitates the performing skills of national instruments such as zither and pipa,together with various kinds of pingtan singing tunes on the basis of Chinese traditional five-tone mode,it not only greatly enriches the expressive force of piano music,but also highlights the unique charm of Chinese national music.In this paper,I take the piano transcription "Butterfly Loves Flower" as the research object,and analyze the work from the aspects of music itself and performance interpretation in simple but profound way,based on the composer's life and the prototype of the lyrics and songs.The realistic significance of "Butterfly Loves Flower" to the development of Chinese piano music is therefore obtained.Through a series of study and research on the works,our technical analysis and aesthetic recognition of the Chinese piano transcription is enhanced,piano music enthusiasts are enabled to grasp Mr.Wang Jianzhong's piano music style in a better way and the unique national charm and cultural connotation of Chinese piano works are displayed.
