A Study On The Rational Thinking In Lopez Garcia's Painting Art

Antonio Lopez Garcia is an outstanding Spanish figurative and realistic artist.Starting from the rational thinking,this paper attempts to understand how the painter approaches the "real" world by studying Lopez's artistic concepts and interpreting the ways of expression in his works.Lopez stood out for his unique painting style in the diverse forms of modern art in the 1960s.On the basis of the continuation of traditional painting,he seeks for the innovation and breakthrough of painting language,sticks to the pursuit of true faith,and penetrates his artistic concepts and inner feelings into his works.His works are rooted in real life and the things around him that he is familiar with.Combining with his own realistic painting language,his works depict the authenticity and objective beauty contained in life,presenting a deep and real art world.In this paper through the interpretation of expression of his work,can make us further understand the importance of rational thinking for his artistic creation,with his unique painting language has a certain guiding significance,at the same time his paintings of modern and contemporary art in representational artists make art exploration,thinking about realistic art language in the context of contemporary culture development has certain reference significance.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an overview of the research content,purpose,significance,method and innovation.The second chapter through the analysis of his growth experience and educational background as well as the rational spirit of traditional European painting combing,analysis of the cause of Lopez's rational thinking;The third chapter through the analysis of his artistic concept,elaborated his painting thought and the profound connotation,then carries on the concrete work the rational brilliance which the interpretation contains;The fourth chapter compares him with contemporary figurative artists such as Balthus,Freud and Naranjo,and discusses their figurative expression forms with strong personal colors,so as to show the uniqueness of Lopez's painting art and have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of his painting art.The last chapter discusses the inspiration of Lopez's painting art to modern and contemporary art creation.How to adhere to the tradition and innovation,the formation of their own unique style of art form,for our current artistic creation can provide reference direction.
