The creation of "The Seasons"is based on the theme of the Russian folk customs and landscapes while it specifically employs the creation method of Western Romantic period as the core,which reflects Tchaikovsky’s creative concepts of combining folk music with the west.In this paper,the author particularly analyzes the romantic elements in "The Seasons"of Tchaikovsky piano suite from three aspects of romantic period,i.e.theme music,creative technique and aesthetic thoughts,and studies the influence of Tchaikovsky’s character as well as his aesthetic views on his creation,accordingly,applies these findings to the second interpretation of his works.
