Study On Chengsui’s Thirsty Brushwork

Chengsui’s landscape paintings,which are recognized by the world,are characterized by pure thirsty pens.There are not many painters who use thirsty pens to paint in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,but there are few painters who use thirsty pens to paint.Most of the papers related to Chengsui’s landscape paintings have mentioned thirsty pens,but there has been no in-depth text exploration of thirsty pens.Therefore,this paper has started a series of text analysis and discussion on thirsty pens in Chengsui’s landscape paintings.This paper analyzes some reasons of using thirsty pen in Chengsui’s landscape painting and the hidden ideas of the painter behind it.Using the literature research method to analyze the rheology of thirsty pens,it is known that for Chengsui,landscapes,landscapes,and thirsty pens are an interactive relationship.Further in-depth excavation of the literature shows that Chengsui had a special work in his later years and chased Qin and Han dynasties.The thirsty pen has a great connection with the official script.Using the background of Han Li’s times and analyzing the metaphor behind Chengsui’s poetry,it can be seen that the artistic concept hidden behind the thirst pen is Taoist thought.This thesis hopes that through the analysis and exploration of Chengsui’s thirsty pen,Tanchengsui’s painting path will clarify the thinking for the study of painting and provide reference for his own creation.
