The Artistic Characteristics And Comparison Of Different Singing Versions Of Bellini I Puritani Opera Aria Qui La Voce Sua Soave

The aria Qui la voce sua soave of Bellini opera I puritani has always been a classic repertoire for soprano,and often appears in major vocal competitions and concerts.After exploring the background of the creation of the work,this article can be roughly divided into two parts: the artistic characteristics and the different singing versions.The artistic features are analyzed by the music style,melody-rhythm,lyrics pronunciation and accompaniment texture;as for different singing versions,the author selects performances by three renowned soprano singers,i.e.,Dame Joan Sutherland,Diana Damrau and Sumi Jo and compares the tempo,the coloratura and the emotion.On the basis of this analysis,the author combines her own understanding to create a second degree creation to better interpret the work.
