Cen Shen is an outstanding representative of the frontier poets in prosperous Tang Dynasty,when talking about Cen Shen,we can not ignore his frontier poems,his frontier poems are famous,and it has become to his label.He has about seventy frontier poems,which has no a large proportion in his all poems,but his frontier poems are most valuable.Since ancient time,the poets who really experience western regions are not so many,many frontier poems were written by imagination,without true experience,this kind of poems can not really reflect the life of western regions.Cen Shen has been western regions twice,he lived there about six years,so he has a good understanding of the scenery and the culture of western regions,there is true feeling in his frontier poems.when Cen Shen came to western regions,there were many advantages,his frontier poems convey the marvelous scenery of western regions,he develops the contents and the artistic techniques of frontier poems.This thesis consists of four chapters,the introduction introduces research situation?research methods and research significance of Cen Shen's frontier poems.The first chapter introduces Cen Shen's two experiences of western regions and creation,and compares Cen Shen's two experiences,analyzes the differences and the reasons.The second chapter discusses the contents of Cen Shen's frontier poems,including the pursuit of achievements and fame?attachment to friends?homesickness?conditions of the people in western regions.The third chapter discusses the characters of Cen Shen's frontier poems,the characters consist mainly of strong ? strange and real.In Cen Shen's frontier poems,the army and the ambition are strong,the scenery?imagination and technique are strange,his experience of western regions and the place names in his frontier poems are real.The fourth chapter studies on the literatural value?status and impact of Cen Shen's frontier poems,Cen Shen's frontier poems have a far-reaching influence,the influence on Lu You has a typical meaning.
