Research On Artificial Intelligence Image Of American Science Fiction Films

With the advancement of Robot Revolution and artificial intelligence wave,the image of artificial intelligence in science fiction movies has been paid more and more attention by film scholars.For example,Robbie,a glowing robot with a hemispherical head in Taboo Planet,HAL,a red-glowing program in 2001: Space Roaming,C-3PO,a metal humanoid robot with a microwave transmitter in the head in Star Wars,and R2-D2,a three-legged metal multipurpose robot,wear a sexy leather jacket and gold in Terminator.It belongs to T-800,the first CG protagonist robot,T-1000,the virtual program matrix in the Matrix of the Matrix,and Tony,the man-machine hybrid with a nuclear artificial heart and a steel battle suit in Iron Man.Many classical AI images in American science fiction movies,on the one hand,present the artistic commodity attributes of capitalist market with high-quality visual effects.On the other hand,in the illusory scene of the collision between mechanical civilization and human civilization,human beings take self as the starting point and make self-reflective thinking.This paper is devoted to a comprehensive study of the artistic value,social and cultural functions and image connotation of AI image in American science fiction movies.The introduction part defines the relevant concepts and summarizes the literature on this topic at home and abroad.Chapter 1 summarizes the evolution of AI image in the development of science fiction movies,and summarizes the three connotation logic of AI image transformation from mechanical body to human body,from unconscious to autonomous consciousness,and from gender-free to gender-based.Chapter 2 classifies 50 AI images in selected samples,elaborates the spectacular design of AI images based on body composition,expounds its social attributes and functions according to the functional orientation of AI images,and further discusses its gender characteristics according to the gender presupposition of AI images.Chapter three,from the perspective of science and technology,greatly promotes the evolution of AI image,elaborates the social ethics and moral loss behind the evolution of man-machine relationship mapping,and interprets gender power in human organ relationship based on feminist ecologism.Chapter IV analyses the restrictive norms of the current development of science fiction ethics on the development of AI image in science fiction movies,and the possibility imagination of the future AI image of "new members" of mankind.
