Jia zhangke's film narration has a kind of exploration for the truth.This paper focuses on jia zhangke's film narration and is divided into three parts.First of all,this paper makes a multi-dimensional comparison of the research status of jia zhangke's films,and summarizes the research significance and value of his films.Secondly,the narrative style of jia zhangke's film is analyzed from the perspectives of township elements,the advancement of music,and the significance of the underclass.From the beginning,jia zhangke's film style was based on the familiar small towns,to the gradual expansion of the pattern of world view,and his exploration and reflection on the existence situation and authenticity of the characters were still the constant motives of the film.Finally,based on the narrative method of jia zhangke's films,through the indepth analysis of the long shot,metaphor and plot arrangement in the film,the value of jia zhangke's films to the reality and the meaning of human existence is demonstrated from the outside to the inside.This paper also draws theoretical support from the works of film theorists Andre bazin,vertov,eisenstein,etc,and conducts a horizontal and vertical comparative study from an international perspective by combining the changes of film styles of jia zhangke in different periods.This paper attempts to analyze and elaborate jia zhangke's film narrative value from a deeper dimension.
