Jingzhou has a beautiful environment,favorable geographical position and profound historical and cultural deposits.It is an important node in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river,attracting generations of literati to visit and stop,forming a unique tradition of poetry creation and reflecting the unique regional culture of the central and southern regions.During the northern song dynasty,jingxiang area was still the heartland of the country,and jingzhou was an important hub for communication between the north and the south.During this period,due to the near shore of the water,the river network,the transportation is convenient,many scholar officials came here,stop to intone the natural scenery,cultural landscape,feeling the charm of historical changes in jingzhou city,and had close contact with the local literati,leaving a large number of local characteristics show unique jingzhou poetry,also be our understanding of northern song dynasty in central social style and features of a single point of access.Based on the unification and stability of the northern song dynasty,this paper probes into the unique regional culture of jingzhou through the study of jingzhou poems.This paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter mainly discusses the political evolution,natural geographical features and humanistic and social conditions of jingzhou.Jingzhou has a profound history and a superior geographical position.With the river as the shore,it has a dense river network and convenient waterway conditions.The jingjiang river and the han river play an important role.Jingzhou is an important city in the central and southern region of the northern song dynasty.To clarify the natural and social environment of jingzhou has laid a foundation for the study of jingzhou poetry in the northern song dynasty.The second chapter sorts out the relationship between jingzhou poems and poets in the northern song dynasty.There are many poets in jingzhou,so it is necessary to sort out the poets.Jingzhou poetry in the northern song dynasty can be analyzed from three aspects: official poets,traveling poets and native poets.For the official poet also has the performance jingzhou folk custom,CARES about the people’s life the work.Although the three types of poets have different concerns in their poetry creation,they can present the unique regional characteristics and similar emotions in their works,which reflects the influence of life and experience in jingzhou on their poetry creation.The third chapter explores the regional characteristics of jingzhou from four themes.Jingzhou poems in the northern song dynasty contain multiple themes,such as nature,products and customs,ode to history and nostalgia for the past,and travel of scholars,reflecting the prosperity of jingzhou culture as well as the "poetic evidence of history".Jingzhou in the central and southern areas of the northern song dynasty attracts scholars to chant.In the theme of nature,the river is the waterfront,and the unique regional feeling triggers the change of the poet’s emotion.The theme of products and customs reflects the cultural color of the land of jingchu;The theme of celebrating history and recalling the past reflects the poet’s reflection on the world and embodies the distinctive characteristics of the northern song dynasty.The theme of intercourse reflects the style and features of literati in the central and southern areas of the northern song dynasty.In a word,these themes reflect the influence of regional culture in the northern song dynasty.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the artistic characteristics of jingzhou poetry in the northern song dynasty.The complex changes in the northern song jingzhou poetry and the tang jingzhou poetry;In addition,the poems present unique structural features and lyrical ways.In particular,the jingzhou poets continue the lyrical mode of "climbing the stairs to live in sorrow",which reflects the poet’s exclamation in the twists and turns of life.At the same time,there are some accumulation of image symbols in the poems,such as jingjiang river,hanshui river,jingzhou and zhugong,etc.,which also reflect the regional characteristics of jingzhou.
