This paper studies the teaching modes and methods of the current freehand sketching basic courses.Through the analysis of the different aspects existing in the hand drawing classrooms both in domestic and abroad,it is believed that classroom conditions with regards to relationship between teachers and students is actually linked to the relationship between their psychological conditions.Based on this,various theories in environmental psychology are reviewed and studied to find out the problems that the course is currently facing from the perspective of behavioral limitations.It aims to explore a teaching model that is more suitable for both students' psychological development as well as curriculum improvement.Furthermore,it looks for ways to improve the teaching methods of the course,and promote the cultivation of talents in the course.The theory of behavioral limitation is based on and directly related to human response to their environment.This article is based on the inspiration of behaviorism in some aspects of learning and research.The "limitation" in behavior limitation theory refers to some information in the environment that limits or interferes with what it is hoped to do.In theory,the multiple situations that occur in the learning environment are beyond the learner's acceptable ability.These situations could start causing negative emotions such as anxiety and anger.At this point,the learner hopes to regain learning ability or control,which is the psychological impedance response in the behavior limitation.The behavior limitation theory also believes that when the learner's ability to regain control of the environment fails to recover,it may lead to self-destructive psychology,and thus limiting capabilities.This can be considered as the stage of helplessness.That is to say that after few attempts to solve the problem people tend to think that there is nothing else to do,eventually giving up any efforts.Hence,the behavior limitation theory believes that the environment's behavioral constraints contain three basic steps: the loss of controllability over the environment,the re-attempting of acquisition,and the sense of helplessness acquired after failure.Based on the investigation of the secondary vocational school,research on various literature,and studying the problems arising from the investigation,some measures such as improving the classroom conditions,teaching equipment,lightning up the mood of teachers and students,and so on could directly influence and improve the present hand drawing teaching more obvious problems.More importantly,by studying and applying the theory of behavior limitation in the text,the dilemmas that teachers and students face can be improved.This can further help cultivate the ability of self-study for the secondary vocational students in this particular case and give them the courage to challenge the limited environment in order to create a new era of outstanding hand-painted basic works.
