"Gaze" is a very important philosophical concept, which is a philosophical visual activity.During the ancient Greek period, tthe great philosopher Plato divides the concept of the eye into the "eye of the soul" and the "eye of the flesh",and gives the former the equivalent of the metaphysical metaphysics.Traditional metaphysics and rationalism and visual centralism are mutually reinforcing, which means that the visually activities are first placed in a binary opposition structure. This dual opposition contains the operation of the power mechanism. The white people's oppression of black people and the male's desire for women are all representations. The result is that the value of the existence of individuals is obliterated.Existentialist Sartre exposes the essence of metaphysical opposition and oppression through the deconstruction of modernism, and reveals that we can balance the power relations in binary opposition only by constructing our own subjective status.Lacan specifically explains the concept of gaze in the "Four Basic Concepts of Psychoanalysis".Through psychoanalytic methods, the gaze mechanism plays an important role in the infant stage of children's construction of ideal self and self-identity,and emphasizes the capital of "other ",who is the subject of gaze. The post-structuralist Foucault believe that gaze had an effect in a broader social context, and that the individual lost the subjective value of individual life under the supervision of panoramic power. With the rapid development of visual culture, contemporary gaze is more and more resistant to visual centralism. The integrity of the subject required by contemporary gaze and the reconciliation between individuals have been partially realized at both the aesthetic and social levels. It is feasible to achieve equal coexistence among individuals by establishing identity gaze.
