A Virtual Reality Digital Painting Research

As the developing of Virtual Reality Technology,a new painting form called virtual reality digital painting is created by the collision of new technology and new arts.Virtual reality digital painting brings visitors unprecedented immersive visual art enjoyment with the unique virtual space as media,and it shows fascination of new painting form.Comparing to custom digital painting,virtual reality digital painting having a lot different in creative technique,expression form,watching experience and so on.As digital painting get new characteristic with virtual reality technology,the new painting creation calling new ideas,new methods and new skills.The virtual reality digital painting is still not mature enough,for now,so the key point of this thesis that would be discussing is the issues we are facing in new painting form's theory and practice.The thesis has analyzed the features of virtual reality digital painting's application performance based on virtual reality technology study cases of virtual reality digital painting.By analyzing the objective differences of media,perspective,and tools with new and custom digital painting,the study comes up with virtual reality digital painting's features in creation.Base on the theoretical study,the research has an exploratory practice of virtual reality digital painting creation,and talk about the creative techniques in content,composition,and color.Through research,the thesis provides a theory of virtual reality digital painting to artists and expand the way of artistic creation ideas.Hoping the study could bring more artist to start virtual reality digital painting creation,and promote the development of new art with the collision of technology and art.
