Research On Immersive Art In The Digital Age

There is an increasingly complex relationship between technology and art,the aestheticization of technology and the technicalization of art have become the typical characteristics at present.With the support of technology,immersive art develops rapidly.As a kind of art,it is not a new style of art,as early as before the digital age,many artists have conducted various explorations.With the help of digital technology,immersive art has developed rapidly,the immersive aesthetic feature contains the current new aesthetic paradigm,that is,from concentration to contemplation to subject intervention.We should pay attention to this new aesthetic turn,under this premise,it is necessary to explore the changes in the relationship between the creation subject,the art work,and the receiving subject and their aesthetic characteristics.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction part of the full text,mainly centering on the topic,expounding the purpose and significance of the research and the current situation of domestic and foreign research,make a contextual analysis of the origin and development of immersive art.Then explain the concepts of "immersion" and "distance" in immersive art,it is emphasized that the“distance”refers to a tension structure composed of multiple factors,which is specifically manifested at the physical,social,psychological,and aesthetic levels,etc.It can be seen not only as the internal characteristics of art in its development process,but also as the artistic reaction and psychological strategy that arise from the different perceptions of the artist when dealing with reality.Finally pointed out the purpose and significance of immersive art research.The first chapter is based on the cultural background of immersive art development,it analyzes in detail the reasons that promote the development of immersive art from the perspective of technology,the change of aesthetic paradigm,and the perspective of aesthetic subjects.And to pry into the laws of art development and the new characteristics of aesthetic experience in the new era.The second chapter is the analysis of the aesthetic characteristics of immersive art.It examines the difference between it and the "immersion" in traditional art,and summarizes it by combining the two dimensions of artistic creation and acceptance.In the first section,from the two dimensions of art that crosses the boundary between life and reality,point out the multilateral nature of the artistic creation process;in the second section,starting from the openness and multi-directionality of art,it points out the multiple dialogue features in the process of art acceptance,so as to explore the aesthetic characteristics of immersive art.The third chapter points out the survival dilemma and the way out of the current immersive art through combing the aesthetic characteristics of the current immersive art.Specifically,analyze the changing characteristics of the distance factor and the reasons for the change,revealing the historical inevitability of distance disappearance and the unfavorable side of art development and popular aesthetics brought by it,thus emphasizing that in the digital age,we should take a dialectical attitude towards the development of immersive art.On the one hand,it is necessary to affirm the results of its development,on the other hand,in the current era of distance dissolution,art must be defamiliarized to create rational distance,construct a meaningful form and increase the ideological nature of the content.The final conclusion part gives a brief summary of the paper,point out the rationality and inevitability of the development of immersive art,and at the same time we must see a series of problems in it,such as pan-aestheticization and de-sublimation,and point out that to promote its healthy development,it must be constructed by distance.The study of immersive art is conducive to promoting the development of new media art and enriching its theoretical understanding,providing methods and ideas for the study of other new art styles.
