The period from Wanli to Chongzhen in the late Ming Dynasty was an important period of change in the history of Chinese calligraphy.During this period,people pursued the liberation of personality,and set off a trend of "strange".In calligraphy,beginning with Xu Wei,a group of calligraphers wanted to reverse the increasingly rigid "Taige style" since the Yuan Dynasty.Huang Daozhou,as the leader of post-learning in that period,was good at all kinds of physical abilities,especially in small scripts and cursive scripts.Based on the background of the time of Huang Daozhou and the origin of his family studies,this paper analyses the style and causes of the calligraphy of HuangdaoZhou and calligraphers Ni Yuanlu and Wang Duo kept company with him after he became officials.Combining the representative works of Huang Daozhou with the theory of calligraphy,this paper classifies the fonts and develops them in chronological order to analyze the formation process of the main forms and styles of different fonts in different stages,so as to explore the aesthetic orientation of their calligraphy creation.Finally,taking Cai Yuqing,who was most influenced by the Huang Daozhou,and the main representative calligraphers who were influenced by his calligraphy style and thought since the Qing Dynasty as an example,this paper explores the influence of Huang Daozhou's calligraphy creation.
