Memory is the ability that enables us to form a kind of self-consciousness(identity)regardless of individual level or collective level.It is reflected in the self individual memory from the intrinsic nerve level,the mankind's communication memory from the society-group level and the mankind's cultural memory from culture-cultural identity level.Man is not only the carrier of memory but also the carrier of art.Art feedback presents the original concern for human beings.Therefore,memory is the continuation and development of art regardless of the psychological level or the social level.The author has proposed the focus and study on the symbolization in contemporary ink art field from the perspective of art due to his confusion in his individual art exploration.On the one hand,under the context of cultural homogeneity and crisis of identity caused by cultural flows,what is the development direction of the contemporary ink art field that is far behind the image(symbol)of memory media,such as text,ceremony,dance,etc? On the other hand,how will the contemporary ink art symbol of contemporariness and social value maintain the individual and society,the present and the past through memory?The author studies the practice cases involved symbolic aesthetic system and contemporary ink art for deeply grasping the development of symbols in contemporary art.It is expected that this study can perceive the ink expression way of artistic symbols evolution from the perspective of deep cultural memory,thus finding the method of the rational use of symbolic language and image based on the breakthrough points of reflections on cultural inheritance and seeking effective expression of artistic creation in contemporary cultural context.
