| Hans Jonas’s principle of responsibility claims that nature itself has intrinsic value,therefore human beings are responsible for the existence of nature and future life.The principle of responsibility is the cornerstone of the responsibility ethics.With modern technology showing its nearly devastating influence,the responsibility ethics towards future ens entirety draws high attention and gets rapid development.However,why does nature have intrinsic worth?Why do people still exist in the future?To discern and figure out their tuth,the paper inspects the foundation of responsibility ethics,which is based on the seriousness of philosophy.To accomplish the task "How possible is the principle of responsibility",the argument and analysis are divided into 3 parts:the discovery of responsibility principle,how it was discovered and the form when it was discovered respectively focus on verifying its time,foundation of ontology and the logic process of evolving into responsibility ethics.In Jonas’s context,the responsibility principle means to discove rather than to invent,which is the requirement of existence.In order to get proper respect for it’s identity,it is absolutely necessary to confirm that the principle is of a universal genealogy.Thus,the ontology of"principle"has been developed,which is the theory of teleology and axiology.Objective to investigate the method of comprehensive demonstration by Ming,through theproof of artificial things,subjective existence and non-existence of subjectivity"purpose,that nature is the existence of purpose,that "the nature and future of people must exist"is"nature of the existence of"requirements.The value theory proved by the method of analysis,from the"nature is objective existence"the fact of"existence"value,from"human nature is the ability to work to the highest achievement in"the fact of"one and only"for"the nature and future of human existence"it is responsible".Thus,the"principle"to complete the self-confirmation,ethics can be established on the basis of ontology,set up a bridge between"yes"and"should".In addition to logical argumentation,the legitimacy of the principle of responsibility includes factual argumentation.What exactly does it want to show?In the era of technology,responsibility principle is able to express itself in the name of"responsibility order".Though the reflection on modern technology,it indicates the destruction of death and unknown right of life,predicts specific ethical principle such as being cautions and prepared,legal soundness and foresee the future to the hilt and so on.On the responsibility principle itself,it expands the environmental ethical,tries to create a bridge between"what it is"and"what it should be "and initiates a brand new way of developing technological ethics,However,there are also some defects like metaphysics and nonrational argumentation.Although the responsibility principle is not perfect,it’s clear logic and metaphysic base make it gain a temporary stable resistance.It waits for futher discussion on whether it will be prosper or be decline. |
