A Study Of Suffering Writing In Ma Jinlian's Novels

Since the new century,a number of young writers in Ningxia have won awards and attracted great attention.Among the rising Ningjun,Ma Jinlian,a Hui woman writer,has made remarkable achievements because of her unique local and miserable writing,mysterious religious consciousness in her works and unique national cultural psychology.Her novella Long River ranked first in the Chinese novel list in 2013 and won in 2016.The 11 th National Minority Literature Horse Award,in 2018,she won the 7th Lu Xun Literature Award for her short story "Size Water and Sauerkraut in 1987".At present,there is no in-depth study on Majinlian's novel suffering writing.This paper attempts to study Majinlian's unique suffering writing in a large literary coordinate system through a comprehensive reading of her works.The main body of the thesis is divided into three parts: the first part presents the main content of the suffering writing in Makinglian's novels from the aspects of survival suffering in barren environment,life suffering under cultural coercion,human suffering under the control of good and evil and beauty and ugliness,and the second part presents the main content of the suffering writing in Makinglian's novels from the perspective of the writer's individual life experience and the place where the suffering occurs-the religious and cultural influence of Xihaigu and Zhehe Ningye.This paper analyses the source of suffering consciousness in Ma Jinlian's novels.The third part discusses the artistic manifestation and value of suffering in Ma Jinlian's novels.The concluding part of the thesis points out that the unique value of Ma Jinlian's description of suffering lies in her depiction of suffering as a clean and honest land of moral adherence,and at the same time,she sees the changes of human relations in the local world in the current process of modernization,and puts forward to explore and express her worries about it.
