At the end of the nineteenth century, watercolor painting was introduced into China from the West as an imported product in the field of Chinese art.Through combing the development process of female painters in the 20 th century, this paper studies their personal feelings and the historical background under which they create.Based on these images, this paper analyses the artists' creative characteristics and peeps into the inner world of the creators. This paper chooses three female painters as subjects, all of whom are outstanding in this field.Their paintings have a strong visual effect, and are highly impressive, full and vivid. These excellent female painters are good at observing life and have profound artistic accomplishment. All these have enhanced my understanding and creative level of painting art, motivating me to feel the present just like them, and to convey my perception and views of the world through my works, while summarizing and reflecting on their own creative perception of watercolor figure painting. In the process of artistic creation, how to combine theory with practice and how to use women's unique gender perspective to carry out artistic creation have become part of the author's research. This article is divided into three chapters. The first part elaborates the creative factors of female watercolor figure painting, sums up the painter's personal feelings and the times outlook;the second part outlines the female subject matter in the female painter's pen,and analyses the painter's creative techniques and style forms;the third part summarizes the process of their own painting creation,as well as the beneficial exploration of female watercolor figure painting.Pursuing the transformation of spirit in constant exploration.
