A Study On The Stucture Of"Ju+Quantifier"in Modern Chinese

The research object of this paper is a series of structured words such as "step by step,step by step,year by year" with the same word-formation structure,and "step by step + quantifier" belongs to a subcategory of "X" classifiers.This kind of words have the same semantic and grammatical characteristics.According to their gradual change in semantics,they are called gradual adverbs of the category of "progressive+ quantifier".At the same time,according to their grammatical expression,they are divided into adverbs of manner.This paper explores the similarities and differences of "Zhu+Quantifier" in terms of word formation,syntactic distribution,choice and collocation with predicates,semantic nature and characteristics,and semantic orientation.Firstly,starting with the word-formation of "Zhu + Quantifier",the corpus is analyzed and counted through quantitative research,and the rules of word-formation and the reasons why they can be combined into words are discussed.Then,according to the dictionary's inclusion of adverbs of the category of "Zhuo+quantifier" and the degree of their own grammaticalization,the category of "Zhuo+quantifier" is divided into the already-formed adverbs and quasi-adverbs.From the perspective of "Zhu" and "Quantifier" respectively,this paper analyses the motivation of the combination of the two words.Secondly,it starts with the distribution of "Zhu + Quantifier" in syntax and its collocation with predicate.Finally,from the semantic aspect of "Zhu + quantifier",the semantic nature,semantic characteristics and semantic orientation of "Zhu + quantifier" are discussed and analyzed respectively.According to the interpretation of representative words in "Zhu + Quantifier" in dictionary,the semantic structure is analyzed,and some semantic properties and characteristics of these words are determined.By using the method of adverb semantic orientation research,this paper studies the semantic orientation of "Zhu+Quantifier" from four aspects: concurrent reference,anaphora and anaphora,anaphora and ambiguity caused by semantic orientation.
