This paper collects and sorts out the published bronze ware inscriptions that describe the war in the Period of King Li and King Xuan of the Western Zhou Dynasty at present,including 18 pieces that mainly sorts out the contents of the inscriptions and explains the difficult words and phrases to get more reasonable explanation on the basis of widely referring to the research results of scholars.This paper includes five parts: introduction,arrangement,research,appendix and references.The introduction mainly includes three aspects: research object,research purpose,significance,and literature review.It mainly introduces the scope of selected materials,selection criteria and research situation in this paper.The arrangement part is the main part of this paper.It mainly sorts out the difficult and key words in the inscriptions,and fully collects the views of scholars and sorts them out,then analyzes them sentence by sentence,and finally explains own opinions.Due to the object of this paper is war inscriptions,some words in the inscriptions appear repeatedly,so we only study under one object,and only list conclusions in other objects,then label "see details in XX".The study part is based on the arrangement of inscriptions,briefly analyzed and summarized the inscriptions,so as to grasp integrally the inscriptions of the war in the Period of King Li and King Xuan of the Western Zhou Dynasty.The conclusion briefly discusses the research and achievement of this paper.The appendixincludes twoparts.Appendix I is a table of the inscriptions of the war in the Period of King Li and King Xuan of the Western Zhou Dynasty,marking the reference numbers and inscriptions annotations of the relevant bronze ware in Ji Cheng and Ming Tu.Appendix II is about bronze ware that have problems in time.It mainly contains a briefdescription about war inscriptions which are not included in this paper but have been identified by other scholars.
