The purpose of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is to cultivate students' ability to communicate in Chinese.In communicative competence,the ability to express segments is a vital part of it.This ability is not only the use of words and grammar,but also the control of verbal skills and logical thinking.Therefore,teachers are very important to the development of learners' coherence and cohesiveness.In the traditional teaching,the primary teaching is mainly based on speech training,vocabulary training and single conversation training.Because the learners have limited knowledge,teachers often neglect the training of segmentation expression.At present,the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has begun to pay attention to the problem of the expression of the early and intermediate stages.However,after reviewing the relevant literature on segmental expression teaching,the author found that there are many works on textual coherence and cohesion theory,but there are few related textual practice teaching,and most of the teaching focuses on middle and advanced oral and writing,it rarely involves the teaching of the primary stage.Therefore,the author hopes to design discourse teaching and related training through the classroom,and explore effective ways and teaching methods suitable for teaching in the primary stage of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper takes students from the primary class of the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Verde as the research objects.According to the concepts of “discourse cohesion theory” and “segment expression”,starting from the actual Chinese level of local students in Cape Verde,the teaching and training of students often appear in Chinese discourse,and the students' ability to express their skills as the main goal of teaching is consciously cultivated.Competence and discourse awareness provide a practical basis and a good teaching method for textual teaching in the early stage.The third chapter of this paper is the focus of the whole text.After deciding the course type,teaching objects,and using the teaching materials,the teaching plan is designed in detail,and in the teaching,a total of four different topics related training design,the topic is close to life and in line with the students.The focus of the segmental expressive ability training is to train students to master Chinese language segments,textual cohesive devices,and expression patterns that conform to Chinese habits.Therefore,in the process of implementing the training measures,the author starts with a high emphasis on discourse expression teaching,pays attention to using different training methods,different training contents,different training methods to cultivate students' learning ability,and also encourages students to talk more and show themselves so that can improve their enthusiasm of learning.After the teaching practice,the author also actively reflected and summarized the teaching effect.Analyze and compare the positive and negative sides of the effect,propose feasible methods and insights,and summarize a series of methods and techniques suitable for training students in teaching.The purpose is to explore Chinese text teaching methods suitable for students in the primary stage,effectively reduce and avoid bias,and make the training of segment expression practical in the initial stage.
