Lv Cheng’s Thought Research

Over the past hundred years,the development of China’s Hetu-vidyā has been ups and downs.Since the Symposium on Rescuing was held in Beijing in February 1982,"Rescuing Hetu-vidyā’s legacy and promoting its development" has become an important an d urgent task for the current academic community.On the basis of the study of Mr.Lv Cheng by modern and contemporary scholars in China,the author makes a clear division of the contents of other studies,and thinks that its research method has its unique background.He was influenced by the style of study in Qing Dynasty,the Republic of China,the West and Japan,and formed his own unique resear ch methods.Lv Cheng is proficient in Tibetan,Sanskrit,Pali and so on,so he has his own unique linguistic advantages in the process of studying Hetu-vidyā’.In the main part of the article,the author introduces Lv Cheng’s works on the study of China and Xizang Hetu-vid yā and the relevant theories of it.At the same time,the author particularly introduces the re lationship between.Hetu-vidyā and yogacara in China and Xizang and combs out the relev ant knowledge of Hetu-vidyā used by Lv Cheng in his study of dialectics of yogacara in knowledge.It is also one of the innovations of this article that the author sort out the guidin g role of Hetu-vidyā for other disciplines.Mr.Lv Cheng’s achievements in his study of Het u-vidyā became a bright light for the development of China and Xizang.The article will us e the method of history and logic to analyze Mr.Lv’s experience and his works.Lv Cheng’s research is a beacon of the research developtment about Hetu-vidyā.This study analysis the experiences and works about Lv Cheng.Focus on his research overview and viewpoints.Carding the choroid,and put forward own points.The hope is to provide th e advice to later researchers.
