Buddhist prāmānaya-vāda and hetu-vidyā is a science contains epistemology,theory ofknowledge,logic,argument technique and so on.According to the academic circles at home andabroad of the existing academic achievements,the research about logic is a focus in the past.Butjudging from the whole theoretical system,epistemology is the kernel of the whole subject.Atpresent,the international academic research methods are changing from “Petersburg school” and“Vienna school” to “Virginia school”.In the domestic,the researchers of Chinese hetu-vidyāstrengthen the communication with the researchers of Tibetan hetu-vidyā who attache greatimportance to prāmānaya-vāda.Prāmānaya-vāda has gradually become the focus of research aboutbuddhist philosophy and Indian logic at home and abroad.The research core of this paper is Dignāga’s pratyaksa theory,he is the the founder of Buddhist prāmānaya-vāda. The discourse is foundedon the fundemental classics of Pramānasamuccaya.At the same time of establish a point ofview,analyze and criticize the Nyāya’s pratyaksa theory.After express buddhist views and criticizeother people’s opinions,discuss the deep-seated problems of "debates and faith" about philosophyof religion.Thus further reveals the establishment of the buddhist prāmānaya-vāda and hetu-vidyārepresents the end of Mahayana Buddhism’s theories.The complete set of theory is the basis ofreligious praxis(Samatha and Vipassana),is about liberation’s epistemology.
