"Violin Sonatina in G Major" was a composition written by the famous Czech composer Dvorak in 1893 for his children.Although it was a Sonatina,it inherited the classical sonata form structure, with sonata form in the 1st and 4th movements and temary form in the other two movements. The music characteristics from Czech and American are integrated in the melody and rhythm, including Czech rhythem from Skocna,American pentatonic, dramatic syncopation and lower 3rd.Meanwhile,we compared the acoustic data performed by Alexander Tal and Qian zhou, and found that Alexander played a bit slower, while each of them made their music with unique features.Connecting the theory and practice, the author will present the four movwments with pleasure, peace, children's taste and dance as well as singing.
