With the continuous development of the digital work of cultural relics,a large number of digital data of cultural relics are produced. The number of data of cultural relics is huge, and a lot of information is hidden, which is of great value for research and application. At present, improving the efficiency of data storage and retrieval, and displaying the massive, redundant and complex cultural relics data to users is a hot topic in the field of cultural data management and application. This paper is based on the in-depth investigation of the digital field of cultural relics. In view of the characteristics of the time attribute of cultural relic data, based on the object relational data model, propose a high efficient data model for storing time attributes of cultural relics.Avoid the issue that in relational database in order to ensure data retrieval efficiency, they have to maintain the corresponding index, greatly reduce the redundancy in cultural time data and improve data retrieval efficiency. At the same time, this paper designs a visualization scheme for the characteristics of cultural relics spatio-temporal data, use rectangle map and matrix graph to visualize the spatial and temporal dimension information of cultural relics, use streamgraph and parallel coordinate plot to visualize the features of museum collections data,a visual color matching scheme based on U-Matrix method for multi class cultural relics is proposed. Thus the multi-source,redundant and massive cultural relic data features are realized in multi-level and stereoscopic visualization. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is verified by the data published in the Chinese first national survey of movable culture relics.
