Virilio has repeatedly mentioned the assertion proposed by Adorno in Prisms,‘To write poetry after Auschwitz is barbaric'.This article explores the intention of Virilio quoting this formulation, and argues that Virilio has outlined a contemporary picture of the combination of art and war.The form of art, from ‘total war' to ‘pure war',continues to decompose and transforms into Auschwitz-type terrorism.Under the blessing of technology, the war machine invades the human perception field. The‘téléprésence' destroyed the ‘empathy' and the industrial art of ‘picnoleptic' recreat and controll the subject, the phenomenological body gradually disappeared. In this series of processes, the war has not been annihilated but has survived in the depths of modern and contemporary human life. The Military-industrial Complex has always existed and secretly shaped human beings.War-art brought endless disasters, violence and the destruction of humanism. And the shadow of Auschwitz never dissipated.Virilio calls for the sacred art.He uses Christian humanism to achieve the redemption and reconstruction of human world.
