A Comparative Study On The Images Of Merchants In Liaozhai Zhiyi And Yuewei Cottage Notes

Liaozhai Zhiyi and Yuewei Cottage Notes are both weird novel in Qing dynasty.They depict the image of businessmen.As a literati how two of them are not liked attaches great importance to the businessman,but under the condition of good business development situation in the Qing dynasty,two people in the process of writing all the businessmen as part of the society.This study compares the business stories of two books from the text.Firstly,I sorted out the stories related to the businessmen in the two books,and summarized them in a classified way,and then the ordinary life of the merchants in the qing dynasty was also observed.Secondly,it discusses the similarities and differences of the businessmen's image in the two books,and explores the overall style from the character story to the characters.Third look from the businessman image of the similarities and differences between the two classical Chinese mystery novels creation idea,find these two books for business image in the history of Chinese literature and the influence of the meaning of cultural history in China.In these two novels,the businessman's image is the continuation of the merchant's literature,which is a supplement to the businessman's image in the vernacular novels.It is refreshing to use traditional themes to write a new business group,and to add to the legend.From the perspective of the businessmen,the similarities and differences between the two books can better understand the literary meaning of the novel.In the process of comparing the image of businessmen in the two books,it is possible to know more clearly about the image of businessmen in the eyes of literati,so as to better understand the dynamic changes of social structure at the time of the social change of Ming and Qing dynasties.
