Sheren(??)group is one of the most active groups in the Warring States Period,Qin and Han Dynasty, which appeared in the mid-Warring States Period.Along with the prosperity of the Warring States regime, the size of the shelter community has gradually expanded. The literal meaning of Sheren(??)is"the person who lives in the host house".Through the literal meaning,we can see that Sheren(??)has a strong sense of private ownership. In the Warring States Period,Qin Dynasty has issued relevant laws and regulations to manage this group. In the Warring States Period,Qin and Han Dynasties, the term"Sheren(??)"usually refers to the feeder under the noble door.In the handed down documents such as"Zhou Li"and"Sun Tzu's Art of War",the term"Sheren(??)"may refer to some officials responsible for grain,or may refer to some small officials in the army.Sheren(??)and guests are usually confused in the literature of later generations. In the Warring States Period,Qin and Han Dynasties, the status of guests is slightly higher than that of Sheren(??).Guests will be loved and respected by the host, and those who give up will usually be indifferent and disdained by the host.During the Warring States Period, the number of Sheren(??)continued to increase.Until the reunification of the Qin Dynasty, the number of Sheren(??)remained huge.In Qin Dynasty, not only the central officials but also the county and county officials were able to support the householders.During the Qin Dynasty, there was a group of people named"gentleman"who could keep a certain number of sheren(??).The"gentleman"is not the same as the"good family"in the Han Dynasty. The"gentleman"refers to the"gentleman"who will inherit the status of"gentleman".In the legal documents of Qin Dynasty,"gentleman"may refer to the owner of high nobility. Before the unification of Qin Dynasty,"gentleman"should indicate that the title of nobility is higher than that of five doctors. After the unification of Qin Dynasty,it may refer to the owner of high nobility. This kind of person can raise a certain number of others. In the early Han Dynasty, the number of Sheren(??)was still huge. From the Han Dynasty up to the members of the Royal family, down to the county magistrates have a certain number of Sheren(??).In the period of Emperor Wudi of Han Dynasty, the number of sacrificers decreased, and only a few relatives of the emperor had a certain number of sacrificers.By Wang Mang's time, the number of relatives of the emperor had a quota, which affected the bureaucracy of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The reasons for the eventual demise of Sheren(??)are as follows:first, the use of power to suppress the rulers;second, the gradual improvement of the bureaucratic system, especially the emergence of the system of selecting officials and the Prince Sheren(??),which led to the demise of Sheren(??);third, the official salary is insufficient to support the consumption of feeding and the improvement of the system of"officials and servants"and"official support".The disappearance of Sheren(??)reflects that the bureaucratic system of Qin and Han Empires has been from imperfection to perfection, from non-standardization to standardization.Sheren(??)became a part of the bureaucracy of later generations and still influenced the imperial bureaucracy. From then on,the flourishing shelter group disappeared in people's vision.
