Xu Gan is one of the "Jian'an Seven Sons" and a well-known writer and thinker in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. In his youth,he closed his own life and concentrated on his studies. In the middle age,he attached to Cao Cao and became the servant of Cao's father and son.Together with other Jian'an scribes,he created a splendid Jian'an literature. In his later years,Xu Gan returned to the hidden alley, and said that he had completed the creation of more than 20 articles in the "Chinese Theory".Xu Gan is both an extraordinary Jian'an writer and a Confucian gentleman who can keep himself in the chaos. The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the relationship between Xu Gan's personality and his literary style. The structure of the article is as follows:The first part introduces the research of the predecessors and explains the writing intentions and innovations of this article. The predecessors' research on Xu Gan was scattered in the overall study of Jian'an Seven Sons or Jian'an Literature, and mainly focused on his life, thoughts and literary achievements. No one has thoroughly studied his personality and connected his personality with his literary style. This article attempts to analyze Xu's personality characteristics in detail and discuss his literary style with his personality. This is the innovation of this paper. The second part introduces Xu Gan's family history, life experience and characteristics of the times.Exploring the relationship between Xu Gan and Cao's father and son and Jian'an scribes, and analyzing the reasons why Xu Gan returned to Cao and his later years.Xu Gan grew up in the chaos of the late Eastern Han Dynasty.Under the guise of Qing Liang's family style,Xu Gan did not cope with the name of the tour, and he took refuge in the North Sea in his early years. He was attached to Cao Cao in the middle age andretired in his later years.Xu Gan and Cao's brothers had a good relationship, and Liu zhen had a close relationship. In the middle age,he was transferred to Cao in order to realize his political ambitions. In his later years,he was concealed by law and other reasons. The third part analyzes Xu Gan's personality characteristics: the unity of seeking truth and ignorance.During the Jian'an period, the consciousness of the people's life crisis was very strong. The "three immortals" in the pre-Qin period became the common consciousness of Jian'an literati. In the early days,Xu Gan sought to make a difference in politics. He could not reuse it and then turned to book and said that his "Chinese Theory" is a Confucian theory that pursues the theory of governing the country and the theory of political philosophy. The ideology of seeking for the outside is a kind of faint personality. Its personality characteristics include the following three aspects in detail: acquaintance with Tongda,Chongsheng still ancient;ignorant and self-defeating;pay attention to reality, but the truth is the task. The fourth part analyzes the style of Xu Gan's literary works: the unity of nature and beauty.Cao's father and son who love poetry and poetry brought the literary creation of Jian'an period to the path of adv ocating individuality and gorgeous literary remarks.Xu Gan,as a writer of the Cao Group, could not be influenced by Cao's father and son,a dvocating that Huamei became a literary work of Xu Gan.Important fe atures. At the same time, due to the development of China's five-charac ter poems during the Jian'an period,Xu Gan's five-character poems also have a strong "nineteen ancient poems" advocating the natural wind.Xu Gan's poetry only reflects his interactions and limited emotions with other scribes of the Cao Group, and does not fully express his inner personality.Xu Gan's very important personality traits such as “light off icial anger, unsuccessful glory” and “Qing Xuan physique” are not refle cted in the poems that have been handed down. The fifth part sorts out and analyzes the acceptance of Xu Gan an d his literature.Later generations highly praised Xu Gan's conduct andconduct, and his acceptance of literature is reflected in the following t wo aspects. The first is the imitation of the "room thinking" by the po ets of the descendants, which shows that the literary circles of the later generations affirmed the achievements of Xu Gan's five-character poetr y literature;the second is the evaluation of Xu Gan's literary style and achievements by the literary critics of the later generations.Xu Gan's style of poetry tends to be soft and natural, and this style is not popul ar with Zhong Rong, who advocates the “wind” of health. However,m any critics in later generations have analyzed Xu Gan's poems from dif ferent angles, giving Xu Gan's poetry the attention and positive evaluati on.
