A Study Of Ecological Ethics In Astafyev's Works

Viktor Petrovich Astafyev(?????? ???????? ????????,1924—2001)is a representative writer of Russian ecological literature.This thesis takes the ecological ethics as the central point and support point of the theory and explores the rich and profound ecological ethics of the writer,based on the value orientation of ecological ethics in the creation.The thesis focuses on the specific Siberian ecological environment in author's work,highlights the regional symbols and cultural characteristics of Siberia.The ecological ethical relationship within the Siberian ecological environment is constructed in the writer's creation,which contains natural ecology,social ecology,and spiritual ecology of people in nature and social ecology.It takes ethical as the core of ascertain,forming “circular” structure that includes nature,society and human beings.In the works of Astafyev,the relationship between individuals living in the Siberian environment and the occurrence of ecology has been explored,waving a network of closely intertwined ethical relationships.The writer not only deeply touches the problem of natural ecology,but also exposes the macroscopic social ecology.At the same time,it also explores the problems between social ecology and individual.Three factors influence each other and cause each other.The writer's creation takes the ethical relationship as the“line”.The traction is surrounded by a unified and harmonious ecosystem of living things and the environment.The whole article talks about the way of expression of ecological ethics in Astafyev's works and aims to explore the writer's ecological ethics more comprehensively and deeply.This thesis could be divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The first part introduces the significance of the study,literature review,research methods and innovations of this thesis.The body consists of four parts.The first part analyzes the value orientation of ecological ethics inAstafyev's creation in three aspects: the ethical value based on moral personality,the cultural value of deep ecology,and the value of environmental protection.The second part presents a portrayal of the Siberian ecological environment in Astafyev's creation and add the connotation of Siberia's “limit threshold”explaining the display of Siberian extreme time and space in the authors works and the composition of natural images in the Siberian extreme ecological environment.Siberia gives the writer the inspiration and nourishment,which makes the writer's works contain unique Siberian regional symbols and cultural characteristics.The third part explains the ecological ethical relationship within the Siberian ecological environment.Siberia contains two meanings for writer's creation.The first aspect is the anomie of ecological ethics within Siberia's extreme time and space,it is manifested as: the natural environment damaged by people,irrational decision inducing the ecological problems,the result of the war causing ecological tragedy,the alienation of spiritual world leading to ecological imbalance;The second aspect is that the writer presents the anomie of ecological ethics,and it has a deep meaning of the place of Siberian hope.In this way,the writer constructs ecological ethics and admires the life of all things in the “living environment” which makes the true equality between nature and people.It can guide people to escape out of the ethical dilemma,make correct ethical choices and also helps people returning to the balance of ethics and morality.To achieve these,we must suffer some difficulties and expect salvation,purification and resurrection of the spirit and toward the ethics and morality.The fourth part is to synthesize the way of expressions of ecological ethics in Astafyev's work.It mainly embodies the way in conforming nature to write nature,compares the ecological ideal with the “optimistic tragedy” and explores the the ecological justice in the contradictory and paradox.Finally,the conclusion part organizes and summarizes the main points and contents of the thesis.
