Study On The Social Function Of Mongolian "Da Chang" Ceremony In Agricultural Areas

This paper consists of introduction,three chapters,conclusion,references and appendices.The introduction focuses on the relevant research overview,the purpose of the topic selection and research methods.In the first chapter,on the basis of introducing the historical change,geographical location,population situation and basic situation of agricultural production in Aoribugao Village,the agricultural production ceremony is divided into five types: plough the first furrow as a guideline ceremony day,Tiancang ceremony day,"Bayanchagan Sahara(harvest-related ceremony)" ceremony,agricultural omen custom,and “Da Chang”ceremony,which are summarized and analyzed.The second chapter,based on social investigation data,summarizes the historical inheritance of “Da Chang”ceremony announced by Aoribugao Village in Horqin Right Middle Banner,and divides the basic steps of “Da Chang”ceremony into preparing ritual customs,praying to heaven and earth,grain and rice threshing ritual(daubing ritual),farm tools and farm animals rice threshing ritual,ritual banquet ritual customs and so on.On this basis,the purpose of participating in the ceremony is divided into three aspects: the purpose of meeting the needs of life,the purpose of enhancing social interaction,and the need to fulfill relevant duties.The third chapter,based on the questionnaire and interview data and under the guidance of the social function theory,analyses and discusses the social function of the“Da Chang” ceremony in Aoribugao Village of Horqin Right Middle Banner,from five aspects: enhancing the awareness of traditional culture,inheriting traditional ceremony,coordinating the relationship between people,enhancing the relationship between individuals and communities,and making the relationship between people and nature more harmonious.In the conclusion,on the basis of summarizing the full text,the author thinks that as a rich resource of traditional culture,the “Da Chang”ceremony should have a deep understanding of its value,especially in playing the social role,significance and specific methods of traditional cultural resources such as the“Da Chang”ceremony.
