A Study Of The Artistic Characteristics Of Liling Folk Song "The Ghost Song Of Love"

"The Ghost Song of Love" is an important representative work in Liling folk song and even Hunan folk song,,which is with high artistic value.It was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Hunan in 2014.The folk song is rich and hot in melody,and has local characteristics in lyrics and singing.Taking the artistic characteristics of "The Ghost Song of Love" as the research object,this paper summarizes the background of the song,and has a basic understanding of Liling folk songs.Secondly,it makes a musical analysis of the song,discussing its rhythm,melody and mode,including the coordination of melody and dialect tones,the rhythm following the emotional changes and the use of grace note.Besides,it also analyses its singing features.What's more,with the research and analysis of the song,this paper explains the artistic characteristics of the song in "live" breath,"fast" articulation and tunes,and "hot" emotional expression,which is expected to inspire the current folk singers and songwriters to integrate more elements into the singing and creation of folk songs,so as to make folk songs full of new vitality and brilliance in the contemporary era.
