The Amendment To Annotation And Explanation To Common Chinese Words Of Epigraphs During Tang Dynasty In The Chang'an Tablet Inscription

The Chang'an tablet inscription edited by Wu Minxia is the compilation of inscriptions on a tablet published in recent years.The book collects the inscriptions of different times in Chang'an and its surrounding areas.The Chang'an tablet inscription contains 423 inscriptions.There are 298 epitaphs of the Tang Dynasty,which are the main part of the book.Its publication provides abundant materials for the study of Tang Dynasty history,language,culture and characters.The records of epitaphs about Tang Dynasty in Chang'an tablet inscription are relatively accurate,but there are still some defects.There are many reasons for this phenomenon,like social reason and its own reason.Because Tang Dynasty have a long history,many epitaphs have been damaged by natural factors.The recorder's own level of understanding and seriousness will also affect the quality of The Chang'an tablet inscription.This topic takes The Chang'an tablet inscription edited by Wu Minxia as the research object,and refers to other relevant epitaphs,makes textual criticisms to the epitaphs of Tang Dynasty collected in The Chang'an tablet inscription.The article is mainly carried out from three aspects.The first is correcting the errors in recording Tang Dynasty epitaphs in The Chang'an tablet inscription.The second is to explain common Chinese words in Tang Dynasty epitaphs.The third is to collect the representative common Chinese words,and compiling a list of them about Tang Dynasty epitaphs in The Chang'an tablet inscription.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research object,research background and current situation,research steps and methods.The second chapter is the correction of epigraph interpretation,which is mainly divided into eight aspects: correcting mistakes,correcting omissions,correcting the punctuation errors,deleting redundant words,adding missing words,adjusting the wrong word order,put right the wrong adjustments and increasing corrections.The third chapter is making textual criticisms and explanations of common Chinese words.This part will make textual criticisms and explanations the misinterpretation words and the uninterpreted characters.The fourth chapter is the significance of the study,which is divided into three aspects.Firstly,it isbeneficial for readers to understand Tang Dynasty epitaphs accurately.Secondly,it is advantageous to correct historical books and to supplement them.Thirdly,it provides a number of valuable character materials for the study of modern Chinese characters.Finally,it is the appendix of this article.
