The Trend And Characteristics Of Tibetan Films In The New Century

In 2017,the state officially implemented the law on the promotion of the film industry.Article 43 of the law specifically provides encouragement and support for the creation of films featuring ethnic minorities.As is known to all,minority films have always been of great political significance,cultural value and artistic contribution in the development history of Chinese films.Among them,the Tibetan theme film in the creation of quantity and artistic quality are remarkable.The research object of this paper is Tibetan films since the new century.These films have become an important part of the development of Chinese contemporary film culture and art with their unique national cultural quality and exploration spirit of film art.This paper is based on the creation trend of Tibetan films since the new century.Based on historical analysis and combing,this paper summarizes and explains the trend of Tibetan film creation since the new century from two major aspects.Chapter one: the development history of Tibetan films.This paper mainly reviews it in the period of "seventeen years" of new China,the new period of reform opening up in order to provide a historical perspective for the interpretation of chapter two and chapter three.Chapter two and chapter three analyze the trend of creation from two aspects: language culture and media art.First,the emergence and development of Tibetan films(chapter two).For the first time,films in the Tibetan language use the Tibetan language as the film dialogue,which has a more direct meaning of self-expression in the national language and national culture.Compared with the cultural perspective that focuses on national discourse construction or "other" imagination,national cultural self-expression of Tibetan films has become a new trend in the development.Secondly,the exploration and formation of realistic aesthetic style in national cultural context(chapter three).The exploration has aroused the recognition and concern of domestic and foreign audiences and researchers,which is mainly reflected in the pursuit of the authenticity of narration and images,and shows obvious characteristics of art films.The analysis and grasp of the development trend since the new century have important cultural,artistic and political significance in minority films and Chinese films.
