In recent years,according to the data of foreign students released by the Chinese Ministry of Education,the total number of international students studying in China in 2016 exceeded 400,000,of which about 60,000 were new students after the implementation of the “The Belt and Road” initiative.As for the number of people,it can be seen that the “Belt and Road” has had a profound impact on the education services for international students.The main problem that International student education should solve is the problem of cross-cultural communication barriers.Language communication is one of the most important ways by which this problem can be solved.One of the functions of foreign language education is to reduce the communication costs brought by cultural barriers.This paper "introduces the concept of cross-cultural communication and related theories,which are mainly determined by the complex and diverse barriers of student education's cultural background." The main innovation of this paper is to provide constructive opinions on International education services by combining literature from different perspectives.The content of this study is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion,which are divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the Introduction.It introduced selected topic origin and topic significance,research content and basic framework,research methods and theoretical guidance,related literature review,made a comprehensive overview of the significance of the topic,what problems can be solved,and previous research results.The second chapter is the “The Belt and Road” cross-cultural understanding and dissemination.It explains the profound meaning of the “The Belt and Road” and the ambitious goal,as well as the constructive role of cross-cultural education in the “The Belt and Road” initiative.The third chapter is the International student Chinese education under the “The Belt and Road” initiative.This article elaborates how cross-cultural education for international students can serve the “The Belt and Road” and the problems hindering the “Belt and Road” initiative,the role of Chinese International education in the “The Belt and Road” initiative and the impact of Chinese International student education on the “The Belt and Road” initiative.The fourth chapter is the Innovative ideas of International Students' Chinese Education services towards “the Belt and Road Initiative”.It is also an important chapter of this article,and it introduces five important aspects such as: the expansion of international student enrollment scale and enrollment publicity,the implementation of the “admission and strictness” standard for student quality,the integration of Chinese and Western education management models for foreign students,cross-border cooperation in running schools in countries along the route,and the establishment of special international students development fund in countries along the route.The last part is the conclusion.This part addresses specific recommendations and conclusions which would be helpful for future research.
