The Influence Of Neolithic Tools On The Artistic Style Of Jade Carving

The Divine Land nurtured the splendid Chinese civilization which has been closely accompanied by jade culture in the five-thousand-year history of civilization development.Compared with bronze vessels,painting and calligraphy,porcelain,jade is more intimate with Chinese culture.Taking the Neolithic Period as the time frame and starting from the generation of stone implements in Paleolithic Period,this paper divides Neolithic Period into three parts in light of time and space and summarizes the development process,carving skills and types of jade as well as the significance of tools to the development of jade during this period based on the study of jade in the Neolithic Period.This topic can be helpful for human beings to study the origin and development of social production activities,and it is of great significance for us to study the history of Chinese fine arts and crafts.This paper mainly explores the influence of the Neolithic tools on the artistic style of jade carving through the vertical and horizontal comparative analysis of the development of jade carving in Neolithic Period.
