The Ming Dynasty, especially after Wanli period,is the flourishing period of popular literature's development and publishing.According to the record of Chinese popular novels, there were nearly two hundred novels in the Ming Dynasty, while the number of operas and legends was more successful. After Wanli period, bookstores developed rapidly, and there emerged many book markets such as Jianan,Jinling,Hangzhou,Suzhou and so on.Under the operation of the Ming Dynasty book market, books, book boards, booksellers and book workers changed in the form of "dynamic",in different degrees and regions. The circulation of people refers to people's migration from one place to another without the swift of their registered residence, while as to object,it refers to the transferring and circulating process of objects. In the book market, booksellers, and even readers, carrying books, migrated from the areas of producing books to the "distribution center" of books.Due to various subjective and objective factors, book workers moved from their hometown to the areas with strong book production capacity in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province. This is a win-win not only for themselves, but also for the owner of bookstore and the book publishing industry.Book boards,as a special commodity, circulated in the book market. We can make a glimpse of the simple circulation about the book boards at the time and explore the reasons for the circulation of books by inspecting the photocopies of popular literature books that can be seen at the moment.
