With the improvement of China's economic and international status,the number of Chinese learners is increasing every year.Business Chinese is an essential part of teaching Chinese as a second language,therefore,researches on business Chinese are of great consequences.Vocabulary is necessary to languages,thus,analyzing business Chinese vocabulary benefits improving business Chinese teaching and facilitates the development of practice.This paper focus on business Chinese based on Frame Semantics as well as Output-driven and Input-facilitated Hypothesis.The main issue and its aim is about classifying business vocabulary.First,this paper defines some concepts about "business",including the definition of business Chinese,business Chinese vocabulary,Business Chinese Test and the characteristics of business Chinese vocabulary.Then,this paper establishes a semantic frame system about common-used words list of the business Chinese examination outline.In total,there are 3 sub-domains:business life,work and environment.Under them are 23 frame structures and 6 secondary frame structures.After that,this paper describes all the frame structures,including actors,objects,non-core elements(place,method,result,etc.),lexical units and primary language skills.On the basis of what has been done in the former chapters,this paper provides some suggestions about arranging both the business Chinese vocabulary and textbooks:the semantic frame system should be applied to arranging vocabulary;real business scenes should be established;new theories and technologies should be referred to and a online dynamic data-base should be set up.This paper values in several ways as following:first,by improving the study of business Chinese vocabulary,it has made some contribution to the specialized Chinese research,and to a certain extent it is also beneficial to the continuous improvement of teaching Chinese as a second language.Secondly,it provides a new idea for compiling business Chinese textbooks,and helps to promote the development of business Chinese teaching.Third,it enriches the application of frame semantics theory in Chinese language research.There are also some shortcomings in this paper:limited by ability and paper length,the vocabulary studied in this paper is limited to some words in the list of common words in the business Chinese exam outline.Also,the semantic frame system is established from a personal perspective,there could be some better ways to divide them.Hope to get deeper in this research in the future.
