Foreign language teaching in speaking has always been weak and difficult for the teachers at universities.The traditional foreign language teaching usually cannot figure out proper model to achieve good teaching effect in spoken language teaching.With the empirical research method,this paper,through four months' experiment,exlplores:students' attitudes towards language input and output;students' attitudes towards new task-based teaching model based on “Output-Driven and Input-Enabled”;whether the new spoken language teaching model is an available manner to develop students' attitude towards foreign language speaking and to improve students' speaking ability.In order to ensure the scientificity and accuracy,the author adopts the method of quantitative research and qualitative research.With the analysis to the relative statistics,conclusion can be drawn that most students think that output-driven and input-enabled are important and indispensable in the study of foreign language speaking;most students think that task-based model of the output-driven and input-enabled theory in spoken language teaching can enhance their interests in spoken language study,change their attitude towards foreign language speaking and improve their speaking ability.
