This paper titled "The research of southern Fujian eminent monk Xuefeng Ruhuan in the late Ming dynasty",studies Chan master Ruhuan's life experience,the thought of the work and his influence in the historical context of southern fujian buddhism's development.This paper discusses from the following four aspects:The first chapter:"The time and space background of Chan master Ruhuan's life".It will briefly introduce the buddhism in dynasties of Ming and Qing and the buddhism of southern Fujian,the fomer is a time-bound and Holistic analysis,the latter is a spatial and local analysis.The second chapter:"Chan master Ruhuan'life and his multiple figures".It will briefly introduce Ruhuan's life and his figures of Confucian,Ming adherent and Chan master.The third chapter:"Chan master Ruhuan's 'Collected Works of Shousong'".The first section introduce the origin and structure of "Collected Works of Shousong",the second section studies Ruhuan's thought from "Collected Works of Shousong",the third section studies the historical value of "Collected Works of Shousong".The fourth chapter:"Xuefeng Ruhuan's position and influence in the buddhism of southern Fujian".It will briefly introduce the network transmission and the modern influence of the Xuefeng temple.
