A Geographical Study Of Lexicon Of Shandong Dialect

The lexicon of Shandong dialect has the universal characteristics of Chinese northern dialects.However,it also has its own distinctive features in the development of word formation and meaning.Apart of lexicon also reflects the specific ideological understanding and cultural psychology of people in Shandong,so Shandong dialect has a huge quantity of synonyms.This rich internal difference is very suitable for the study of dialect geography.The traditional Chinese dialects survey in China is mainly based on language description and historical comparison.The method of dialect geography is only a supplement,especially the study of dialect geography with provinces as the research object.Based on large quantity of dialect survey data,this paper studies the dialect geography of lexicon of Shandong dialect by selecting lexicon variables,choosing dialect points,distributing and collecting dialect questionnaires,drawing dialect maps,and analyzing the distribution rules of variants one by one,and trying to explain the internal classification of Shandong dialect with lexical features,trying to make a useful exploration for the use of lexicon argumentation methods in Chinese dialect classification.The innovation of this paper is to combine the theory of dialect geography with lexicon.Based on the display maps and the interpretive maps,drawing the distribution area of variants,and finding the boundary bundles with high agglomeration as the dialect boundary.In this paper,Shandong dialect is divided into 4 pieces and 9 small pieces,and compared with the traditional dialect classification with the characteristics of phonetics as the standard,exploring the geographical causes of lexical classification of dialect.The full text is divided into eight chapters,of which the third to the seven chapter is the main part of the paper.Chapter one is"Introduction".This chapter is an overview of the geographical population and historical evolution of Shandong Province,introducing the research status of Shan Dong dialect and dialect geography.It also introduces the purpose,significance and research methods of this paper and makes some necessary explanations.Chapter two to chapter four is "The Geographical Distribution of Lexical variables of Shandong Dialect".This chapter will select some of the representative lexical variables which can reflect the internal differences of the lexicon of the Shandong dialect,drawing descriptive maps item by item and interpretive maps for some complex variables,meanwhile,analyzing the relevant distribution situation and drawing maps of the variant distribution area to prepare for the dialect classification.Chapter five is"Lexical Variables and Dialect Classification".Based on the maps of the dialects,this chapter overlaps the boundaries of the variant distribution areas to find the boundary bundles,and makes a tentative exploration of the classification of the Shandong dialect,comparing with the existing research results of Shandong dialect classification.And the division is explained from human geography such as historical geographic divisions or natural geography such as the barrier of mountains and rivers.Chapter six is "Monographic Study".This chapter selects several important issues that need to be discussed further before,and conducts in-depth and detailed thematic analysis.Chapter seven is"Epilogue".This chapter summarizes the full text,finding out merit and demerit and suggesting some improvement measures.
