The meaning of visual verbs is very rich, because vision plays an important role in people's understanding and discovery of the world. At the same time, the formation of such rich semantics owes to the great role of metaphor.People use a lot of metaphors every day.It has a great impact on the way of thinking and the use of language. Therefore,we have a great influence on the Chinese and Uygur visual verbs. The metaphors of "see" and "qarimaq","see" and "k?rm?k","see" and "k?rm?k","stare" and "tikilm?k","peep" and "marimaq" are compared and analyzed. In the process of analysis and research,we find that:Visual verbs are frequently used in Chinese and Uygur, and the metaphorical richness of visual verbs in the two languages is different.Chinese visual verb "see" has 15 metaphorical meanings,"see" has four metaphorical meanings,"stare" has two metaphorical meanings,"peep" has one metaphorical meaning;Uygur visual verb "k?rm?k" has 14 metaphorical meanings,"qarimaq" has eight metaphorical meanings,"tikilm?k" has one metaphorical meaning;and "marimaq" has one metaphorical meaning.Among them,"see" in Chinese and "k?rm?k" in Uygur belong to visual verbs which are frequently used in both languages. The metaphor of visual verbs in Chinese and Uygur mainly maps from visual domain to mental domain.Chinese and Uygur visual verbs mapped to the mental domain at most, because vision and mind are connected, which also reflects the development of human activities from primary physical activities to advanced spiritual activities. We know the spiritual world through our own physical experience. In addition to the metaphorical mapping to mental domain, these visual verbs also metaphorically map to other domains, such as emotional domain, social relationship domain, other perceptual domains such as auditory domain and tactile domain, which enriches their meanings.Metaphor plays an important role in the expression of visual verbs in Chinese and Uygur. The use of metaphor is universal in Chinese and Uygur visual verbs, which makes the expression of Chinese and Uygur visual verbs more accurate, and many metaphorical expressions mapped by Chinese and Uygur visual verbs are very similar in both languages.Generally speaking, the metaphors of visual verbs in Chinese and Uygur languages are similar to each other and coexist.
