Research On The Printmaking Of "The Scenery Series With Eucalyptus"

In my hometown the most one kind of tree is elm,it can be said that has become a unique landscape of my hometown.As I grew up,the elms were with us all the time.The elms in their different poses always inspired my imagination and inspired my creation.Elm trees in Chinese painting is one of the subjects that artists often like to express,and I hope to use the form of screen printing to show my strong feelings for elm trees.The main purpose of this paper is to study the print works in landscape series with elms,so as to explore some techniques of expression in screen prints,such as the organizational relations of some points,lines and planes.In the creation of the works,I try to use some formalized techniques of expression,through point by point,line by line,surface by surface,so as to present a picture effect with both a sense of form and a sense of artistic conception.In the five series of works,I tried to use different forms for performance,which respectively represented the feeling of elm trees in different time periods of a day and different weather conditions.In order to further highlight the formalized atmosphere in the picture,I used a lot of translucent colors in the color presentation,so that the colors could be integrated with each other and the picture would have subtle and rich changes.Through the use of the above techniques to fully express my elm praise.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter introduces the creation background,content,purpose and significance of the engraving works of landscape with elm tree series.In the observation of elm trees,I realized a kind of unique language similar to printmaking.In the creation,I hope to use some formalized techniques to express this unique language and integrate it into my screen prints,so as to achieve some unexpected effects and express my unique feelings for elm trees.The second chapter mainly describes the material collection,sketch conception and presentation process.Sketch by collecting photos and learning the works of some excellent artists for reference.In sketching,I tried to use a lot of formal techniques to carry out performance research.Based on the results of sketching research,I used the expression form of screen print to complete the creation.The last part describes some thoughts expressed in my works,some problems and inspirations encountered in the whole creation process,and shows some experiences during my postgraduate study.
