Doctor-patient Conflicting Discourse refers to a kind of speech act that doctors and patients can not complete normal communication because of the differences in cognition and understanding of certain medical behaviors,methods,attitudes and consequences between them during treatment,resulting in arguments,quarrels,refutations for their own interests.Accroding to speech act theory,from the perspective of Locutionary Acts,the generation of Doctor-patient Conflicting Discourse can be divided into resistant Doctor-patient Conflicting Discourse and adaptive Doctor-patient Conflicting discourse;from the perspective of Illocutionary Act,the manifestation of Doctor-patient Conflicting discourse can be divided into goal conflict,performance conflict and emotional conflict;from the perspective of Perlocutionary Act,Doctor-patient Conflicting discourse can be divided into the intention of the speaker and the intention of the hearer.The speaker's intention is divided into five categories: instruction,elaboration,greeting,commitment and suggestion.The listener's intention is divided into three categories: accountability,refusal and silence.The common expression of Doctor-patient Conflict Discourse are negative evaluation words,hedges and abuse words,and grammar includes discourse markers,questions and negative sentences.The casuse of Doctor-patient Conflicting Discourse is due to inappropriate subject content,inappropriate forms of expression,inappropriate responses,etc.The external reasons are the difference of identity between doctors and patients,the difference of psychological world between doctors and patients,and the limitation of social world between doctors and patients.There are four ways of mitigation of Doctor-patient Conflicting Discourse: topic switching,compromise,third-party intervention and environmental termination.In view of these four situations,we propose a Pragmatic Strategies which includes Cooperative Principle,Politeness Principle and Appropriateness Principle for reducing Doctor-patient Conflicting Discourse.The purpose is to reduce conflicting conversational communications between doctors and patients,which is of positive significance for establishing good doctor-patient communication and building harmonious doctor-patient relationship.
