Research On Dai National Spirit

The Dai,a member of the Chinese peoples,has an important contribution to the unity of the nation,and its spirit is a irreplaceable part of the Chinese national spirit.The rejuvenation of the Chinese nation means the rejuvenation of all her nationalities and cultures,including Dai and its culture inevitably.Culture is the soul of a nation,and national spirit is the soul of its culture.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the national spirit of Dai nationality for the rejuvenation of national culture and Chinese culture.Dai national spirit shapes and expresses its cultural ethos and style.This thesis generalizes Dai's the spirit of philosophy,ethics,science,religious and patriotism to show their national spirit by means of observing and analysing of its culture and life.This paper has following five chapters.First,observing philosophical spirit of coexistence between human and heaven by means of three aspects,that is,the same root of all things,the concomitant and symbiotic relationship between human and heaven,the practice of mutual creation between human and heaven.Second,mutual combination between theory and experience at following aspects medicine,astronomical calendar,rice farming.Third,ethical spirit of harmony and benevolence by studying requirement of ethical value,morality,and moral practice.Forth,religious spirit of witch,ghost,deity and Buddha through learning coexistence,co-trust,co-concelebration of these objects.Five,Dai's patriotism spirit,achieving from studying submitting to the authority of central dynasty,and modern Dai patriotic action.
