To Simplify

In the long history of figurative painting,from the primitive art to the present painting,there exists the art language characterized by simplification.However,simplification develops in different forms in different periods and backgrounds.Although the forms of expression are different,they are essentially the same.The figurative painting mentioned in this paper is not a realistic painting in a narrow sense,but all paintings with specific basis in a larger scope of vision.Give examples of Chinese and western paintings,sculptures,prints and other works of art.Dissect and study with composition,color and simplified analysis.Looking for and interpreting the process of simplification and visual phenomena in the form of painting,this paper reviews the relevant discourses of asheim,gombrich and hu mingzhe in China to improve cognition and understanding.Painting is a process of simplification,from the visual itself is to simplify the main body to refine the simplified works of art research.
